It all started when a fan, Raunaq Sachdeva, asked him to plan a concert once he wraps up the shoot for his film Sardaar Ji. Diljit had earlier mentioned that he's currently busy filming and won’t be releasing a new song or doing any Instagram Live sessions at the moment. “The film is going to hit theatres in June. I have a lot of work right now,” he had shared.

But when the fan suggested a concert after the film shoot, Diljit didn’t keep anyone guessing. He replied: “Australia & New Zealand, This year in October.” That one-liner was all it took to send fans into a frenzy.
