Shefali Jariwala Death Latest News Today: In heartbreaking news for the Indian entertainment world, actress and dancer Shefali Jariwala, best known for her breakout appearance in the early 2000s remix hit Kaanta Laga, passed away late Friday night at the age of 42.

According to hospital sources, Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband Parag Tyagi, after reportedly collapsing at home. Despite emergency efforts, she was declared dead on arrival. The exact cause of death has not yet been disclosed. Her body has been taken to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.

Police are currently investigating the matter and have begun questioning household staff, including the cook and domestic help, as part of standard protocol in sudden death cases.

Shefali gained massive fame in 2002 with her bold and trendsetting appearance in the Kaanta Laga music video, which quickly went viral before the age of social media, turning her into a pop icon overnight. She later participated in Bigg Boss 13, where her composed demeanor, sharp clarity, and self-confidence made her one of the standout contestants of the season.

Apart from reality TV, Shefali had a notable cameo in the 2004 Bollywood film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra. She was also a contestant on the dance reality show Nach Baliye, appearing in Seasons 5 and 7 alongside her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, whom she married in 2015.

Her sudden demise has shocked the film and television community. Tributes have poured in from colleagues, fans, and celebrities alike. Singer Mika Singh, a close friend, wrote: “Still can’t believe it. You will always be remembered for your grace, smile, and spirit. Om Shanti.”
