Singing stars Yo Yo Honey Singh and Karan Aujla, both have issued apologies to the Punjab state Women's Commission. The apologies come after the singers were summoned by the commission for allegedly using demeaning language in their recent songs towards women.

According to a report by Punjabi Mania, both artists have responded to complaints regarding the allegations and apologized, the Chairperson Raj Lali Gill confirmed.

Gill, as per the report, stated that both the singers have acknowledged the criticism and have assured to be more careful with their content henceforth.

Both singers were summoned by the commission today after receiving complaints that their recent songs contain language that demeans women.
