Bigg Boss 19 Finale: Television’s popular face Gaurav Khanna was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 19 last night, while Farrhana Bhatt, the breakout contestant from Jammu and Kashmir, finished as the runner-up. The live voting round, specially arranged for the top two finalists, ended with host Salman Khan announcing Gaurav as the champion of the season.

While a large section of viewers agreed with the result, another segment of the audience called the finale “biased,” arguing that Farrhana deserved the title. Many fans claimed that despite her consistent involvement in tasks and house matters, she fell short, whereas Gaurav, who often kept a low profile, walked away with the trophy.

Throughout the season, Farrhana was seen actively participating in almost everything inside the house, whereas Gaurav Khanna maintained a comparatively calmer presence.

One of the most striking aspects of the finale was their equal fan following, both currently boast 2.2 million Instagram followers. Farrhana’s rise, however, was meteoric; she entered the show with just 40,000 followers, gaining massive popularity during her Bigg Boss journey. Gaurav, on the other hand, already enjoyed over a million followers before stepping into the house.

The verdict triggered mixed reactions online. One X user asked, “Be honest — didn’t #FarrhanaBhatt deserve to win BB19?” Another user, XAINU, labelled Gaurav’s win “undeserving.”

Yet another user, Anaya, wrote, “For me, #FarrhanaBhatt is the Bigg Boss 19 winner. The season belongs to her. From now on, only fan following matters—do nothing and take the trophy. Audience winner: Farrhana.”

An account named Sajacasm posted, “Say whatever you want, but deep down you all know she is the reason behind the success of Bigg Boss 19.”

Farrhana remained graceful on stage, smiling and clapping for Gaurav also known as called GK in the house, when the final result was announced.

Former contestants and close friends of GK, including Mridul, were seen urging fans to vote for him, while Kuniccka Sadanand and Nehal Chudasama supported Farrhana.

As soon as Salman Khan declared the winner, evicted housemates rushed to the stage to celebrate Gaurav’s triumph. Farrhana’s supporters, including Baseer Ali, were also spotted cheering loudly for her. In fact, Baseer was the first to rush to Farrhana and give her a tight hug.
