Sudents have been protesting outside St. Clair College and have planned a rally at Algoma University Brampton on August 29.

Brampton international students protest news: After nearly seven months, international students, primarily from Punjab, have once again taken to the streets in Brampton, Canada, to protest failing grades affecting around 100 students.

The students from St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology, which operates in partnership with the private college Ace Acumen Academy, claim they were unjustly given failing grades.

The students allege that the motive behind these grades is to extract an "inflated fee" from them to clear the courses. They are particularly distressed because they lack the time to retake exams and balance work alongside their studies.

For the past few days, the students have been protesting outside St. Clair College and have planned a rally at Algoma University Brampton on August 29.

They have appealed to the Punjabi community for support, as many students and those seeking work permits or permanent residency have already been impacted by recent changes in immigration policy, which have shortened the duration of work permits.
