Chandigarh: On the instructions of Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla, the School education department has decided to exempt the physically challenged employees from the Diksha app training.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that personnel department has issued instructions regarding the Integrated Government Online Training (IGOT) on the Diksha platform on Covid-19 pandemic.

On this, the front line staff of all the departments was given IGOT. The personnel department has written to complete the online training course.

In response the demand chart submitted by the Progressive Federation for the Blind (Punjab Branch), the Education Department has announced exemption of physically challenged employees from Diksha app training.
