The last date for receipt of applications for National Award for Teachers is fixed on October 15, 2020.

Chandigarh: The last date for receipt of applications for National Award for Teachers is fixed on October 15, 2020.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department Punjab said that these awards are being given to the teachers for using the information and communication technology (ICT) in Education.

Punjab EducareAccording to the spokesperson, ICT awards are given to teachers for motivating them use the ICT in education. These awards are given by the Government of India under the ICT@school scheme.
