Chandigarh: Coronavirus in Punjab is a matter of concern for everyone. Corona's speed had quadrupled in early May, posing a major problem for the government. But in the middle of the month, on May 15, news came of a big relief from Punjab.

PhotoPhotoPunjab has seen a four-fold increase in the recovery rate. The recovery rate of corona virus in Punjab was 9 per cent which has now increased to 37 per cent. This news has brought great relief to the Punjab Government.

Out of total 1932 patients of Corona virus in Punjab, 731 patients have recovered and returned home so far. On May 15, a record 508 patients were cured, leading to an increase in the recovery rate in Punjab.

CoronavirusCoronavirusThe highest number of patients recovered is from Gurdaspur district which is 107 which is followed by 81 from Tarn Taran, 79 from Jalandhar, 65 from Amritsar, 51 from Sangrur, 46 from Moga, 35 from Mohali, 21 from Bathinda, 11 from Ludhiana, 7 from Fatehgarh Sahib.

Two each fom Muktsar Sahib and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. 1-1 patients from Mansa, Faridkot have recovered and returned home.
