Former Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala and former Editor-in-Chief of Desh Sewak newspaper Dr. Joginder Singh Puar passed away

Jalandhar: Former Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala and former Editor-in-Chief of Desh Sewak newspaper Dr. Joginder Singh Puar passed away last night.

Dr. Puar, 85, had been ill for some time. He had served as the varsity V-C from 1993 to 1999.

He would be cremated at the crematorium of village Ladhewali (Jalandhar) near Government School at around 2.30 pm today. He is survived by his wife Ratnesh Puar and daughter Maninder Puar.
