On November 15, Punjab will be celebrating Gurpurab, marking the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and a revered spiritual leader.

On November 16, Punjab will observe Martyrdom Day in honor of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, a freedom fighter who played a crucial role in India’s struggle for independence. 

Following these observances, November 17 falls on Sunday, which will round off the long weekend, permitting the residents and devotees enough time for reflection and celebration. 

These holidays are part of the state’s commitment to honoring its cultural heritage and important figures, providing citizens with an opportunity to participate in religious and historical events across Punjab.
