Chandigarh: The officials, on Tuesday, said that the vegetable and fruit market of sector 26, near the Bapu Dham Colony, has been shifted temporarily to the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) in Sector 17.

PhotoPhoto The move was brought due to the 150 active cases of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic that have been reported from the Bapu Dham Colony till now.

While talking about the positive cases in the Bapu Dham Colony, Manoj Parida, who is the advisor of the Chandigarh administration, said, "We kept our numbers to a minimum for almost 1.5 months, after which there was an outbreak in Bapu Dham, a slum-like area.
