Swift action by the fire brigade averted a potential disaster, and authorities managed to successfully bring the blaze under control. However, preliminary estimates suggest that the fire may have caused losses amounting to lakhs.
The Sudden Outbreak of the fire in the garment factory triggered chaos in the vicinity as thick plumes of smoke billowed into the sky.
