Chandigarh: A four-month-old child was among the 11 new Covid-19 cases reported from Chandigarh on Saturday. All the new cases have been reported from Bapu Dham colony in Sector 26, which has emerged as an epicenter of the virus infections in the Union Territory.
CoronavirusAccording to officials, the new cases also include two and six-year-old children. With this, the total count of corona cases in Chandigarh has gone upto 159.

On Friday, the city had recorded its second death due to corona virus. The man was referred from the Civil Hospital in Sector 45 to the GMSH last Saturday with the condition of severe anaemia.
He was also suffering from severe acute respiratory illness.
