By-Elections are going to be held at Jalandhar on May 10

JALANDHAR: The Lok Sabha by-elections is going to be held in Jalandhar on May 10, due to which the government has announced a 2-day holiday in government and non-government schools and colleges. Jalandhar DC Jaspreet Singh issued orders that all schools and colleges in Jalandhar will remain closed on May 9 and 10.

A letter has also been issued in this regard, in which it has been said that by-elections are going to be held at Jalandhar on May 10, regarding which polling booths are to be prepared on May 9. Due to this, keeping the said preparations in mind, polling parties will visit the booths and EVM Machines will be installed at the polling booths.
