Jalandhar Bypolls Elections Result 2024, Punjab Mohinder Bhagat Cabinet Minister news: With the results of Jalandhar West Bye Elections 2024, the Punjab Government has got a new Cabinet Minister and it is none other than the newly elected leader from the Jalandhar West — Mohinder Bhagat. 

Yes, you read it right. Prior to the Jalandhar Bypolls Elections Result 2024, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had announced that he would take Mohinder Bhagat to the cabinet once elected. 

Now, it would be interesting to see what Cabinet would be given to him. As per the sources, Mohinder Bhagat may get either the Sports Ministry or the Water Resources Ministry. 

It is pertinent to mention that now Member of Parliament Meet Hayer has handed over the Ministry of Sports, Punjab, to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Therefore, there are possibilities that Mohinder Bhagat might be given the Sports Ministry.

Notably, AAP's candidate Mohinder Bhagat marked a landslide victory in the Jalandhar Bypolls Elections, with no candidate from Congress, BJP, and BSP coming near to him. The seat was vacant after Sheetal Angural had resigned from his post to switch side with Aam Aadmi Party and join the Bharatiya Janata Party but even this formula didn't worked with him.
