NEW-DELHI: An Air India Express flight to Kuwait on Wednesday (March 29) departed 4 hours early before its scheduled take off time. Atleast 20 passengers were left at Vijayawada airport. Passengers who could not board the plane have expressed displeasure over the incident.
Air India flight IX-695 was scheduled to depart for Kuwait from Vijayawada International Airport at 1:10 pm on Wednesday. The flight departed 4 hours before the scheduled time i.e. at 9.55 am and more than 20 passengers had no information about it.
The passengers said that the flight time given to them was written at 1:10 pm on Wednesday but the flight departed earlier. According to reports, the Air India staff claimed that they had informed the passengers about the rescheduled flight timings.
