Thrilling Table Tennis Showdown: 13 Battalion Triumphs at Inter Battalion Competition Latest News

An Inter Battalion/Group Centre Table Tennis Competition at 13 Battalion commenced on 4th August 2025 with a grand opening ceremony in the presence of Smt. Kamal Sisodiya, Commandant of 13 Battalion, according to a press release.

The event began with a ceremonial flag mounting and a parade of contingents from GC Jalandhar, GC Pinjore, 245 Battalion, 51 Battalion, and the host 13 Battalion.

The competition featured two events: singles and doubles. According to the press release, players participating in the competition exhibited exceptional skill and determination, making the matches fiercely competitive.

The singles final saw Insp. Rajesh Chauhan of 13 Battalion face off against CT/GD M.D. Saiyare of 245 Battalion, with 13 Battalion emerging victorious.
In doubles, the team comprising Insp. Pratap Singh and Insp. Rajesh Chauhan of 13 Battalion defeated CT/GD M.D. Saiyare and CT/GD Saurabh Singh of 245 Battalion, securing the win for 13 Battalion in doubles as well.

The closing ceremony was held on 5th August 2025, where Smt. Kamal Sisodiya, Commandant of 13 Battalion, presented trophies to the winners.
Addressing the gathering, Kamal Sisodiya emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, discipline, and active participation in sports for overall personal development.
