Arun Narang Viral Video: Amid farmers' protest, a video of man facing protest is going viral on social media. In this video, farmers can be seen protesting against a person and the person gets thrashed by person during the protest. Now, it is being claimed that the BJP leader faced farmers' aggresive protest in Malout, Punjab. This video is going viral and is being linked with the recent farmers' protest.

Facebook user Babbu Romana shared the viral video and claimed this video as recent one from the ongoing farmers' protest.

Spokesman, in it's investigation, found the viral video to be old as it is that of 2021 when the then BJP MLA from Abohar, Arun Narang was thrashed by protesting farmers in Malout, Punjab. Arun Narang left BJP in 2023 and joined Aam Aadmi Party afterwards.

Spokesman's Investigation : Starting our investigation, we did keyword search regarding the matter.

"Viral Video Is Old" We found a live report regarding the matter of media house Rozana Spokesman dated 21 March 2021. Viral video scenes were clearly seen in the live report. Spokesman shared this report with title written, "BJP Leader Thrashed In Malout, Police Saved His Life, Watch Video"

As per the given information, BJP's then Abohar MLA Arun Narang had come to Malout to hold a press conference against the Congress government on the completion of four years of the then Captain Amarinder Singh-led government. As soon as people saw the arrival of the MLA, a huge crowd gathered there and after that a large number of farmers also reached the press conference and started opposing the then MLA. During this, a clash erupted between farmers and BJP workers. Farmers even threw black ink on the face of then BJP MLA Arun Narang and also tore the his clothes during the scuffle."

Conclusion- Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral video to be old of 2021 when the then BJP MLA from Abohar Arun Narang was thrashed by protesting farmers in Malout, Punjab. Arun Narang left BJP in 2023 and joined AAM AADMI PARTY afterwards.
