Wife and son killed on the spot, two daughters critical at AIIMS Bathinda after house roof gives way
Two members of a family died, and two were seriously injured last night in Talwandi Sabo after the roof of a room collapsed while the family was sleeping inside. According to the information received, Dharam Singh alias Kala, who works in the Sewerage Department of the Municipal Council, and his family were sleeping in a room of their house when the roof suddenly collapsed at around 11 pm last night. As a result, Dharam Singh's wife, Veerpal Kaur (40), and son, Arshdeep Singh (14), died on the spot, while two daughters, Sanamjeet Kaur and Khushpreet Kaur, were seriously injured and are currently under treatment at AIIMS Bathinda. Municipal Council President Kulwir Kaur Sarah, along with other dignitaries, expressed deep grief over the incident, while a wave of mourning has swept through the entire town following the tragedy.
