RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad to Be Shifted to AIIMS Delhi for Treatment After Blood Pressure Fluctuations
Lalu Prasad will be taken to AIIMS Delhi on Saturday for medical treatment, according to his eldest daughter Misa Bharti.
After experiencing blood pressure swings on Friday night, Prasad was sent to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna. After his blood pressure fluctuated, he was admitted to IGIMS. After a thorough examination, the doctors released him once his condition had stabilized. On Saturday, he would be sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for additional medical treatment, RJD MP Bharti informed reporters. Prasad is stable right now, she said. Before going to Delhi, where he frequently receives specialized care at AIIMS, doctors recommended that he stay under monitoring at home, she said.
Misa said that there are major sanitary problems in the Kautilya Nagar locality, where the RJD supremo just moved. But if they bring up the matter, others might think otherwise, she said. "Sanitation is a big issue in Kautilya Nagar," she stated.
Former chief minister Rabri Devi and her husband Lalu Prasad recently moved from their government mansion at 10 Circular Road to their own private home in Patna's Kautilya Nagar after nearly 20 years. The Bihar minister for animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairy resources, Nand Kishore Ram, was given the bungalow on 10 Circular Road. The RJD supremo has been dealing with multiple health issues over the past several years. He underwent a successful kidney transplant surgery in Singapore in December 2022.
