Jasveen Sangha, a British-American citizen of Indian origin, was identified by prosecutors as a central player in a high-end narcotics network operating out of Los Angeles. The 42-year-old had built a reputation for providing drugs to wealthy clients, including individuals connected to the entertainment industry.

Authorities said Sangha coordinated the distribution of ketamine through a chain of intermediaries, ultimately reaching Perry in the weeks leading up to his death in 2023. Investigators detailed how multiple quantities of the substance were supplied during that period.

The case also revealed that Sangha attempted to distance herself from the situation after the actor’s death became public, with prosecutors citing efforts to remove communication evidence as a sign of consciousness of guilt.
