Senior Congress leaders Rajwinder Lucky and Ashok Sama join AAP

Chandigarh: Senior Congress leader and Halqa in-Charge of Balachaur Adv. Rajwinder Singh Lucky and senior leader of congress from Fazilka, Adv. Ashok Sama on Wednesday joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal at Chandigarh.

Adv. Lucky started his political carrier as student leader and was elected president of Panjab University Central Student Council in 2004. He then joined Indian National Congress and was elected President of youth Congress Nawanshehar. Lucky also served state Youth Congress as General Secretary. He contested vidhan sabha elections from Balachaur as Congress candidate in 2012. Considered close to Congress president Capt. Amrinder Singh, senior leders Ambika Soni and Ex youth Congress President Vijay Inder single was recently appointed as Chairman, Punjab Pradesh Congress committee Youth Welfare Cell.

            Adv. Ashok Sama hails from Fazilka and was close aide of Senior Congress leader, Dr. Mohinder Rinwa. He served Congress party as President of Block Congress, Fazilka. A practicing lawyer at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Sama is providing free legal aid to the people of his area since long.

            Welcoming Adv. Lucky and Adv. Ashok in party fold, Kejriwal said that it is good to see people from all the walks of life joining AAP to bring change in the society. He said that the people of Punjab have decided to throw corrupt Badal and Amrinder out of power and establish authority of common people.
